GAME
2025
The Game series explores the aesthetics of gaming as a visual language and as a contemporary metaphor for risk, desire, and destiny. Rooted in the imagination of Las Vegas, this series of works pays tribute to the iconic games that shape the city's vibrant identity.
Poker, craps, and playing cards become much more than symbols: they are the raw material of the composition. Distorted, fragmented, enlarged, or superimposed, they are used as supports and structures. The motif leaves the gaming table to take over the pictorial space.
In Game, the logic of chance dialogues with the mastery of gesture. The cards are no longer just carriers of numerical value; they become surfaces, rhythms, graphic tensions. Colors intensify, signs repeat, blur, or clash, creating a visual dynamic close to the adrenaline rush of gambling.
This series questions the boundary between strategy and chance, control and abandonment. It transposes the electric energy of casinos into a plastic field where each work becomes a bet—a pictorial gamble.
Game thus celebrates gambling as a space for projection: the projection of fantasies, risks, hope, and freedom.
